Our Managing Director, Katrin Maja Maehl, originally from Germany herself but now a permanent resident of South Africa, heads up the team and supplies an unbridled passion with constant innovation to the services we offer. Educated in Germany, Berlin she completed her Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and after periods of work with SIEMENS and in the immigration industry was one of the founding partners of Intergate Immigration.

The Head of Corporate Services is Nicholas Hunt. Nicholas relocated from the United Kingdom to join the Intergate Immigration team. After a number of years in senior management with some of the United Kingdoms largest banking institutions, Nicholas brings with him an abundance of experience in helping companies to solve their international human resource issues.

As a registered and South African based company, Intergate Immigration Service has two offices in the city of Cape Town, and a satellite office in Johannesburg.

Apart from assisting individual migrants, Intergate Immigration is retained as advisor to a number of large corporate clients and is often asked for comment by the media on issues of governmental immigration policy when changes take place.

As one of South Africa’s largest independent immigration consultants our qualified team, of in excess of 25 individuals, comprises of professionals from the countries of England, Germany, Belgium and South Africa. We are able to communicate with our clients in 6 different languages; including English, German, Dutch, French, Xhosa and Afrikaans.

The Intergate Immigration team understands and is particularly empathetic to the rigors, uncertainty, frustrations and difficulties associated with migration. Most of our senior management has been through the migration process themselves and are subsequently able to draw on their own personal experiences.

INCOMPASS CC

An integral part of the Intergate Group, Incompass is a registered financial services and
accountancy provider. Since its’ inception in 2002, clients have benefited from a personal level of service not normally associated within its’ industry sector. Apart from providing services to a number of local individuals and business’s, it is widely regarded as the leading consultancy for the prospective immigrant.

Incompass CC is headed up by the groups Financial Director, Nico Le Roux. Nico commenced his career as a trainee accountant with PriceWaterhouseCoopers and was later involved in the rendering of their wealth management services. Nico obtained his Honors B Compt degree from the University of South Africa and is a registered Certified Financial Planner (FPI) and a Certified Financial Accountant (CFP).

Realizing the very different needs of individuals arriving in South Africa from all over the world, it offers a wide range of services that include taxation consulting, wealth management, currency transfers, exchange control, banking solutions, insurances (life & medical), property finance and business structures. Andrew attended the University of Exeter and has a BA (Hons) and an MBA in International Management. He started his career in financial services and, before returning to South Africa in 2005, spent many years working on business expansion in the Far East for a global financial services company.
