Our Dearest Tata has passed away

South Africans around the world have today woken to the news of the sad death of the father of our nation. Such was the profound gift that Madiba bestowed upon us all that our nations mourning will be shared by all around the world.

His teaching of mutual respect for all – regardless of their standing, colour or creed will remain his legacy and one that rightly deserves to be celebrated as we mourn his loss.

Intergate have been fortunate to bring many thousands of immigrants to this beautiful country, many of whom now call it home. We have welcomed back vast numbers of South Africans that left these shores fearing for their future.

There is no doubting that without his wisdom, his influence and his unique ability to forgive, we in South Africa would not be enjoying the life that we do today.

Few of us will possess his vision, his commitment and his love for his country and countrymen. Few of us will have his determination to right a wrong

Few of us will leave such legacy of peace and respect for all

Few of us will match the sacrifices which he endured in the pursuit of happiness and freedom for others

All of us should learn from his humility, his passion, his forgiveness and all of us should commit to honouring his life by keeping his vision alive – a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world.”

Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela you will be missed, you will be remembered, may you rest in the peace you so deserve.

“The greatest glory in living lies not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
